The Ridings Livery

The Ridings is a small professionally run livery yard offering full and part livery. Established in 2002, The Ridings offers personal care and attention and meets every requirement for horse and owner.

Our facilities include well ventilated wooden boxes with windows, wash down area, tack room and storage space.  The owner lives on site and CCTV and automated gates provide great security. We also have a 20m x 40m all-weather, floodlit school and hard standing for horse-boxes and trailers.

After 8-10 months of some of the most extreme weather the UK's seen in recent years we're happy to report that the silica sand & rubber surface we spent a lot of time laying late last year has bedded in nicely and has coped admirably with the snow, rain, sunshine and everything else the elements have thrown at it!

An excellent network of local bridleways and quiet country lanes provides many, many hours of relaxing hacking. Alternatively Ann can provide lessons for Dressage, Jumping and Cross Country should you be looking for something more challenging!
